I was Going To Be Overwhelmed This Morning But Then, I Heard His Voice Clearly

It was one of those mornings, and the signs I was going to be overwhelmed were just thick around me. Just a day after Sunday!

There had been a powerful service, no doubt but bombardments from all sources and for all reasons, just seemed to crowd out the declarations of safety, of financial liberation, generally of a total wellbeing.

In that short moment, everything just came flashing back, how I had gone to bed the night before, brooding over a number of unresolved issues.

And I was about going through the list all over again, but then the song just welled up in my spirit: “As the deer panteth for, the waters so my soul longest after thee,
“You O Lord are my heart desire and I long to worship you…”

And the second was: “Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him by His word..”
The third, an involuntary spiritual mumbling that I couldn’t naturally decode
Almost immediately, my spirit latched unto the song voice involuntary following. not knowing where the urge had come from.

I followed as I was led through two more short songs, and a momentary relief came.
And, relapsed on the bed, I found myself reaching for my phone, clicking the email icon
The tendency would have been to go to WhatsApp or at the least Phoenix, but mail, I hardly did wiih my phone, but that was what I did this morning. And like, Robert Frost, in The road not taken” would affirm, it has made all the difference.

Yes, it was a morning that I was going to be overwhelmed, but then I heard His voice.
It came very succinctly through a word of admonition that the servant of God, Bishop Mike Okonkwo had personally emailed me.

The personalisation in the greeting, the content of the message, and my personal circumstances this morning have indeed combined to make all the difference
Dear Cami, it began, here is your wisdom for today.

GOD WILL SORT THEM OUT! And I responded, though absent-mindedly, “Amen”. The message continued:
“And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.” Isaiah 49:26 (KJV)
And the rest of the message here follows:

When God begins a thing, He will surely conclude it. It doesn’t matter who or what is harassing you, I am certain that He will sort them out.
God is saying: By the time I am through, they will know. His name shall be called Jesus, the Saviour of the world.
No wonder the scripture declares: “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: The righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” (Proverbs 18:10 KJV)

The word save includes taking you, saving you from sin, preservation, prosperity and security. His name shall be called Saviour.

When you run into that name you are safe. You are safe from the arrows of the wicked.

You are safe from the winds of adversity. You are safe from all your adversaries and oppressors because God will flush them out.
You are safe from recession, therefore you cannot lack. God fed the children of Israel for 40 years in the wilderness. They dressed up for 40 years.
Their clothes never wore out. Their shoes never wore out. As they were growing their dresses were growing.
You will build houses that you cannot account how it was built.

Right now, you don’t have money, but I am telling you, you will buy houses. God is going to do new things.
You are going to sign the type of money you have never signed in your life. God says, I will contend with those who contend with you. When God is through, they will know that the Lord is your Savior your Redeemer.

You will not fail. You will not lose any battle. Those that thought they have caged you will be disappointed. God will spring surprises for you. He is your Saviour and your Redeemer. Further reading: Proverbs 18:10-16; 1saiah 49:22-26
