Do you know that for about ten years within a period in ministry, Bishop David Oyedepo Missed Church only three times?

And those misses were truly in circumstances beyond control?

The founder of Winners’ Chapel, who has remained very impactful in ministery shared the circumstances in one of his trending videos.

The details are such that underscore importance of commitment to and diligence in ministry. On the other hand, it drives home the point that the world is looking for who will lead them.

Said he:

“From 1999 till now, I have been out of Faith Tabernacle as pastor in charge only three Sundays, that is for a period of ten years, and two of them were circumstancial.

  1. There was a time our plane had some little challenge in Canada and they needed to fix it and they couldn’t finish fixing it, and I missed it

 

  1. There was another time I was getting ready to come and then, there was no flight.

I wanted to charter a flight from the United States down to Nigeria, but we couldn’t get one to charter

  1. One other one was when I went for children ‘s graduation.

In ten years,  I have been out, away from that church three times:

“Seeth thou a man diligent in his..

So, everybody that tunes in to the internet every Sunday, they are too sure that (they would find him preaching the word of God).

Whether you are in Pakistan, you are in Turkey, anywhere, you are too sure the man is there.

” Seesth thou a man diligent in his business, he shall stand before kings, he shall not stand before mean men; (Prov 22;29). that’s so important”.

Bishop Oyedepo, referencing the Bible continued his administration, saying:

Jotham gave a parable, very important parable in Judges 9:7-15: after he heard that Abimelech had been anointed king.in Sechem.

He gave a parable, he said:

“The trees went forth to anoint a king, and they went to the Olive tree, ‘come and reign over us’.

“The Olive said ‘I don’t have time’

“They went to the Fig tree; the Fig said, ‘I don’t have time

“They went to the Vine, and the Vine said, ‘ I don’t have time’.

And so, they got Thornbush , and Thombush said, ‘I will show you’.

Sermonised Oyedepo:

“The world is crying for leadership.

The world is busy looking for who will lead them, and like you have been told, leadership is not just political leadership; leadership is a requirement in all areas of human endeavour”, Bishop Oyedepo stressed.

The ministration is such that has an insight for any discerning listener, moreso, those called of God.
