Truly, not all who call God father, father are his true children as experience has shown that many are wolves in sheep clothing, and a threat to the kingdom.

Or how would a so-called man of God send armed robbers to attack his members?

This is the question revolving around many circles where the story has been told.

It eentres around a man identified as Pastor Richard Daniel, GENERAL Overseerof the The Light And Faithful Gospel Mission, in Calabar, Cross River State, who is now in the net of the police.

He was apprehended yesterday upon indictment by two suspects, supposedly members of his church.

They are Mathew Inyango and Daniel Bassey who upon arrest and interrogation alleged that he was the one who sent them on the inglorious errand with guns and knives during at the compound of one  Doctor Peter Benson.

The spot of their arrest was the Odukpani junction, and upon interrogation, they alleged they were actually ushers at the said church.

The pastor himself has been arrested by the police following the confession.

Details of their confession is one that would shock anyone. They said that as ushers the Light Gospel and Faith Mission,it was part of their duty to collate and process the dossiers of each attendee’s especially new ones.

Upon instruction, they would present these to “the man of God” apparently after doing a sort of pre-assessment of their level of material and financial endowments.

The pastor would then do a time table of for robbing the innocent members. This is easy given that the membership form has, as is the case with some ministries which genuinely want to track with their members, have columns for vital personal information.

To date, they had been able to rob 16 new members of the church before the last one went bad.

What led them out this time was information that a particular vehicle of doubtful content and mission was arriving Calabar. Armed with theinformation, men of the police mounted a road block that turned out successful.
