Government Should Please Take Necessary Action

I write to use you medium to appeal that the government should please take necessary action concerning security challenges being faced by my community, Ojodu Lagos.

Over the past two months, it been reported that over 35 people has been kidnapped from the neighbourhod, leaving about three families without their dear members, and till date, nothing has been said or heard concerning the whereabouts of these victims.

You can imagine what these affected families might be going through currently.

Even shop owners in Ojodu are not left out; they have been victims of constant raids by these criminals. There are regular reports of shops being burgled and goods stolen. And although these incidents are reported to the police, nothing has been done.

As at 1:25pm yesterday, a young man was killed again when he was adamant not to follow the kidnappers.

Several reports have been made at the police post within our neighbourhood,  but still no response from them.

Our lives, property, homes aren’t safe and at stake.

It will be the interest of our community, if this is published so that the appropriate government in authority can take necessary measures and keep us safe.
