Nigerian Activist VeryDarkMan Vows To Recover Stolen NGO Funds

Nigerian Activist, Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has vowed to recover stolen NGO’s funds.
On December 27, a visibly distraught VDM recounted the devastating discovery in a video shared on his official facebook page.
His NGO’s account was allegedly hacked, resulting in the alleged theft of ₦160 million in donations.
The funds were earmarked for a vital project aimed at constructing educational institutions for underprivileged children, a cause that had garnered widespread support from the public and celebrities.
In a recent social media update, VDM disclosed that his NGO’s account, which had amassed over ₦200 million in donations, was compromised, leading to the misappropriation of ₦160 million.
Undeterred by the setback, Verydarkman reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to recovering the stolen funds and continuing his advocacy.

As promised, he announced the launch of a thorough investigation into the cybercrime. In a video update, Verydarkman was seen alongside a security expert working on the case, and revealed that they were headed to Jos, a crucial location in the ongoing pursuit of the alleged perpetrators.
Additionally, Verydarkman disclosed that before going public, he had proactively taken steps to safeguard the account, including temporarily disabling the app in a bid to address the issue quietly..
However, circumstances compelled him to update his supporters, as the situation necessitated immediate transparency. Through his unwavering dedication, Verydarkman continues to inspire hope and resilience in the face of adversity.
