“Covenant University has hidden so many deaths, staff are rap!ng students…”

A tweep has called out the management of Covenant University over rape allegations of female students being forced by lecturers.

An Instagram user identified as _otitoo shared an image on her Instagram page stating “CU girls are being raped and nothing is being done about it. Do Something now we don’t want to see your candles after we lose another girl child”.

Reposted on Twitter by @iTosinAkinbo, he accompanied the image with a screenshot of a chat narrating the staff alleged ordeals with the female students.

The message revealed a female student was in coma because she had gotten an abortion for the head of the student disciplinary council.

It reads:

“Good afternoon, the staffs of covenant university are raping the students. They’ll set stupid rules and if the students should break it they’ll sleep with them in exchange for their studentship. A girl is in coma now. She did an abortion for the head of the student disciplinary council.

“He got her pregnant and still expelled her. So many students there are being abused. It’s a Christian university for crying out loud. Covenant university has hidden so many deaths, they’ve expelled students for trying to stand up for their rights.”

For a fact, this will not be the first time staff of the varsity will be called out over rape allegations.

Recall in May 2021, Dr. Stephen Ukenna in the Department of Business Management was arrested on allegations of raping a 17-year-old.

The victim’s parents filed a complaint with Ota Area Command, leading to the 41-year-old lecturer’s arrest.

The lecturer had asked her to his office on the specified date on the pretense that he wanted to organize a surprise birthday party for her close friend, according to the parents, who had told the police that their daughter had spoken to them on the phone from the school.
