Border Agents Run Over Migrant Using Ladder To Scale In

It is now the end of the road for a migrant who attempted entering the United States of America (USA) by using a latter to scale a border barrier.

A footage has emerged online showing him struck with a car by a U.S. Border Patrol agent. The incident happed at U.S.-Mexico border with the migrant, giving up the ghost in the aftermath.

Reports say the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Professional Responsibility and the United States Attorney’s Office are currently reviewing the video

The incident which happened late last month just south of the border in Tijuana had been recorded by an unknown person and circulated online.

According to report, the impact propels a migrant, a man into the air before he crashed onto a dirt road.

A CBP spokesperson told Newsweek: “On November 27, 2024, U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agents arrested two individuals near the San Ysidro Port of Entry during a human smuggling incident.

“Both individuals were part of a group who used a ladder to scale the border barrier to enter illegally into the United States.

“Upon arrival at the incident location, an agent driving a Border Patrol vehicle collided with an individual who then absconded into Mexico.

“The incident is being reviewed by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Professional Responsibility and the United States Attorney’s Office.

“The Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General and the Mexican Consulate were notified:, the report said.

It adds that the video begins with a group of migrants using a ladder to scale a first barrier and move toward a second border fence in an attempt to enter the U.S. from Tijuana.

As sirens wail in the distance, several individuals climb a taller ladder to overcome the second border wall.

The latest death of a migrant may reinforce the seeming hard stance of newly elected president, Donald Trump.

And though the US-Mexico border problem has been on for long, investigations show a surge in the course of the Joe Biden administration.

The Eagle has sighted reports saying the surge illegal border crossings surged during the Joe Biden administration, with over 7.2 million migrants encountered between January 2021 and January 2024.

This is in the midst of dangers like instant death or disease due to the harzadous terrain, sexual molestation, kidnapping and extortion.
