After my wedding, my wife, Adesua and I got to the point where the desire for a child became an idol. Every month if her period would come, she’d be crying, she’d be depressed, she’d be upset and all that.
We did IVF (Invertual Fertilisation) 3-times and it didn’t work. We spent money on this struggle to have a child but it didn’t work.
My wife and I became a laughing stalk in the society. My family members laughed at me, my friends, and almost everyone I knew laughed at me behind my back. Some called my wife A Barrēn woman, and I was sad because she let the mockery get to her.

So one day, I called Adesua and said, ‘I don’t care if this child we’re looking for comes today, tomorrow, next month, next year, in the next 10-years, or never.
It’s okay, let’s love ourselves and trust God. Then we stopped worrying and a couple of months later, we got pregnant just like that. Whatever you’re seeking, seek God first and the thing will come.
