    Dear sir,

    INDISCRIMINATE NOISE IN ADENIYI JONES

Sir please kindly permit me to draw the attention of the government through your worthy newspaper to the indiscriminate noise that is being perpetuated in our neighborhood at Adeniyi Jones in Ikeja by a Night Club known as Judex Lounge.

This Night Club is just nearby and starts operation for each day at 7pm in the evening till 6am in the morning.

Sir please I will like you to know that when they start operation in the evenings by 7pm, they start playing music so loudly that we find it very difficult to sleep at night.

One cannot sleep quietly or even think over important things that need attention because of the loud noise from the Night Club.

Families are greatly complaining as they usually bring the complaint to the meetings by the members of the residence association held every first Saturday of each month. The residence complain alot about their children not being able to sleep at night but rather resolve to crying every night, also the students among their children that need to prepare for exams overnight by reading are not able to read and concentrate because of the extremely loud noise from the music being played at the Night Club.

So sir please through the pages of your esteemed newspaper we will like to appeal to the government to come to our aid and address this menace.

Please the owners of the Night Club should either be told to relocate to a commercial area and not a residential area or are told to get a sound proof for their musical systems to help curb the noise from the musical systems so that when music is being played the noise rather stays in the Night Club alone and not come out of the Night Club thereby disturbing the peace and quietness of the whole neighborhood.

    Thank you sir.

    Yours sincerely,

    Christiana Okosun.
