All is now set for the public presentation of a book: History and Politics of Nigeria: From Journalism Archives”, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
The book is the work of the Head of Department of Mass Communication, Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Mr Mike Osuji, and the presentation is billed for the NIJ Auditorium beginning from 12 noon.
The event would be graced by representatives of the major political parties in the country, including the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), the People’s Democratic Party (NPP), the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP).

“Coming at a time when Nigeria is experiencing the ordeal of insecurity, squandermania and economic hardship, the questions that beg for answers are: who, among Nigeria’s presidential aspirants would pledge Nigerians a “new deal”?
“Which of the presidential aspirants would draw a “martial plan” for Nigerians?”
Answers to these and more are expected to be provided by the party representatives expected at the programme.

The Eagle reports that Mr Mike Osuji, an alumnus of the University of Lagos, has authored other books which are contributing their quota to the advancement of learning in the country.
