More criticisms are trailing the President Bola Tinubu’s SUV gifts to All Progressive Congress (APC) youth leaders.
This is aside the now widely read reaction leading economist and educationist, Professor Pat Utomi .
For example, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, demands that President Bola Tinubu explains who paid for the luxury Sports Utility Vehicles said to worth about N1bilion.
It says the donation of the vehicles amounts to prioritising political mobilisation over the hardship facing Nigerians.
According to ADC National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, “President Tinubu asks Nigerians to endure hardship while his party distributes luxury vehicles to its political operatives.

“Apparently, sacrifice is for ordinary Nigerians, while luxury is reserved for those working to keep the APC in power
“The APC has found the resources to move its campaign officials around Nigeria. What it has failed to find is a convincing way to make life affordable for the Nigerians whose votes it now seeks,” he said.
