JUSTIN: Veteran Actor Kamal Adebayo Is Dead

Sir Kay, a veteran Yoruba actor identified as Kamal Adebayo, has passed away.

The deceased was also the father of popular skit maker, Abidemi Adebayo, popularly known as Isbae U.

The Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, announced the actor’s death on Tuesday via his Instagram page.

MC Oluomo wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Alhaji Kamal Adebayo (Sir Kay). May Allah grant him eternal rest. RIP Sir Kay.”

Other Yoruba celebrities and actresses have expressed their condolences for the deceased on their Instagram sites since the announcement.

Faithia Williams posted a photo of a lit candle and captioned it, “What a life. God… Sir Kay,” with emoticons showing tears.

Yomi Fabiyi who shared a picture of the deceased wrote, “O di gba kan naa, Sir K Warrior. Wabili Kabbar. RIP senior man. I’m weak.”

Isbae U, however, has not yet commented on the passing of his father as of the time this news was filed.

On the latter’s birthday in August, the internet comic gave his father a sum of N1 million.

Sir Kay’s death’s cause and circumstances have not yet been made public.
