Dear sir,

I want to use this opportunity to draw the attention of the authority about the bad state of roads and power outage in my neigbourhood of Abule Egba, in Lagos.
This has been an issue of great concern since i moved into the neighbourhood.

As a result, there is constant and frequent traffic jam in the area. and this sometimes causes minor accidents. In fact, the constant breakdown of vehicles frustrates motorists frustrated and also leave them in a regretful attitude.

And during raining season, the streets are flooded and even most houses in the neighbourhood are soaked in flood which makes it difficult for the residents to go out and run their day to day activities.

Another problem i would like to comment about, is the issue of insecurity. Since I have lived in the area, frequent meetings have been held for this, but it yielded no fruitful result.

To some of the residents, all hopes have been lost on this particular issue which is not the right thing to happen. The People in the neighbourhood could barely have eight hours of peaceful sleep because of the constant robberies. Various appeal have been made to the government concerning these issues but to no avail.

I would be so pleased and fulfilled if the government can get the opportunity to read this letter so they can send some extension workers who can help out on the issue of bad roads, and for the issue of insecurity, i think street light should be installed in every street and also for watchmen to be engaged and their bill footed..

Yours faithfully,
Adefioye Iyunade
