The convoy of the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Mr. Peter Obi, and his running mate, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, today came under heavy hoodlums attack.
The convoy was on its way to a hotel opposite the U.J. Esuene Stadium, when it was pelted with stones, sticks and other objects.
Obi and Kwankwaso had just paid a courtesy call on the Obong of Calabar before their convoy was attacked leading to damage to some of the vehicles.
They were scheduled to hold a town hall meeting with NDC stakeholders, supporters and party candidates.
