INEC Begins Distribution Of PVC At FCT (Photos)

In preparation for the general election in 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) started distributing Permanent Voter Cards to citizens on Monday at the Federal Capital Territory Headquarters in Garki-Abuja.

 

Residents were seen making their way toward the distribution center to pick up their PVCs.

INEC’s Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education, Mr. Festus Okoye, had announced at the weekend that the distribution of Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to Nigerians will commence today.

Okoye spoke against the backdrop of a parley with the Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) from the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

 

The INEC chief stated that the commission had met to address a number of topics related to the general election of 2023, including PVC.

He claims that everyone, including Saturdays and Sundays, is able to pick up their PVCs between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm.
