Imagine The Insult, Men Can’t Sit Behind Some Ladies On Bike

Some Ladies

Imagine the insult in the mindset of some ladies: men can’t sit behind them on commercial bikes, okada.

In other words, if by any sheer coincidence you have to join same okada, you the man must sit inside. On these our terrible roads, with floods, gullies and potholes literally in total dominance?

And in the midst of the realisation that ladies usually sit tight on the bike, sometimes, clinging unto the hapless okada rider in the midst of crisis.

Why then are they making it a condition that men can’t sit behind them on bike?

As you read, it is a big issue on some routes, to the point of delaying everyone or outrightly scuttling journeys

The most skilled and experienced of okada riders trip and fall on our roads, of course emptying their passengers in the mud, especially when they had chosen to allow the lady sit at the back.

On the other hand, trust, if it’s a male passenger sitting behind, he is most likely to provide much-needed backup from behind with both legs.

That is the last ladies could do, and yet, they insist on being behind. What is the big deal for them anyway?

When it comes to passengers minding themselves, from which sitting position is it easier so to do? from in-between okada rider and the other passenger, or from behind the second passenger?

Methinks it’s from behind the female passenger. Even if he had lost morals, the usual thickness of the average trouser material is enough disincentive.

If on the other hand, ladies insist on sitting behind the male passenger, how many can keep their chests from caressing the man from the back? There can’t be a worse assault. And you would find yourself feeling like an arrested he goat, full of protest, yet, unable to do anything to free yourself. The most you could is, endure; just endure the grueling minutes such a journey lasts

That was how, last time, I almost shouted at this young tiny girl, at Berger. Did she mean she wanted to stay behind my back too, on such a fast route, where assuredly, her legs can’t comfortably grip the foot rests?

What were on her backs that she too wanted to protest? She accurately read my mood and respected her small self.

And you know what? Ladies who detest men sitting behind them on Okada are easy to pick quarrels all through, most shouting on the driver to crawl.

And when I think of it, what’s the necessity of risking your safety and comfort, paying more, in picking an okada if not to save on commuting time?

Where are you, as a lady safer and more comfortable if you were to drive with a male passenger? Methinks in-between the okada rider and the male passenger is a better deal. That is where you are supposed to stay, albeit where your safety and comfort are assured. So, why do some ladies oppose men sitting behind them on okada, even when that is the right thing to do?
