In her opening remark, she said her success story started 18 years ago, as an NIJ student.
“My past experience in NIJ has made me bold, changing an introvert who loves to hide in a hole while enjoying the comfort of her thoughts”.
She praised her lecturers for both academic and social importation saying these have become part of her everywhere.
The Provost, Mr Gbenga Adefaye praised the author for practicing what he teaches by writing the book, his 9th, and which for him, is to him, is a book of records, featuring past alumni’s and legends in likes of Alhaji Lateef Jakande.
The Anchor of the event, Dr Jide Johnson applauded the reviewer for a detailed analysis of a book structured into 19 Chapters.
More fascinating to him was the fact that their successor Dr Mrs Adedeji, is a testament to the fact that a teacher is not a success until he has a successor.
Distinguished members of the press, students, lecturer, HOD and important dignitaries who graced the event were delighted to have a compelling masterpiece about the inside story of NIJ, documented in a book.
Since books are meant to be read, not to be kept, students where charged to get a copy and read while the celebrator and author gave his vote of thanks, bringing the book presentation to a close.
