What is the black market Dollar to Naira exchange rate today 12th January, 2024?
The Eagle reports that parallel market (black market) traders in Lagos and Abuja are exchanging Dollar to Naira at N1245/$ today, 12th January, 2024.
The local currency fell by N20 against the USD at yesterday’s trading session which settled at N1255/$.
The buying rate settles at N1235/$ in Lagos, and trades the same in Abuja, while the selling rate is N1245/$ in both cities.

Meanwhile, the local currency gained at the Peer2Peer (P2P) trading exchange segment to commence trade at N1260/$ against N1270/$ it traded yesterday.
In the same vein, Naira saw a rebound at the official Investors & Exporters Window (I &E) yesterday. It appreciated by 19.17% to close at N874.79 to a dollar at the close of business, data from the NAFEM where forex is officially traded, revealed.
