While issues around the abduction of school girls in Kebbi is yet to settle, bandits have struck again in the north, abducting 9 and injuring one.
The Tuesday incident happened in Tarah community in Sabon Birni local government area of Sokoto State, underscoring the need for urgency in containing the activities of bandits.
Reports say, the bandits took advantage of the redeployment redeployment of members of Tarah’s vigilante group to Katsira, to strike.
It added that the impact would have been graver but for the prompt mobilization of able-bodied men in the area, who confronted them.
