Nigerians Back Onyema, Slam China’s Racist Attitudes Toward Africans

Nigerians have come down heavily on China over its discriminatory attitudes towards foreigners there, whereas it operates freely in other countries, including Nigeria.

They have also thus, expressed their support for the no-nonsense stance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyema, concerning the matter, saying that it had even long overfue.

Obviously angered, they did not spare foul words on China, declaring that the time has come for the Federal Government to call its bluff, since it did not seem to value the friendly attitude of Nigeria towards it.

Others were piqued that the same China had been behind a lot alleged substandard products in circulation and went ahead to encourage the federal government to shun supposed financial and other support coming from the Asian country.

For example, referencing with the video of Africans driven from their homes in China, in the wake of the lockdown, Onywm Jonah nkemakolam  said: “The videos etc of the maltreatment are the realities existing as against the official lies of government. The Nigerian government should take appropriate actions to bring China to its senses”

Nkemakolam said as a Communist Country., that China could lie and cover its bad sides” “They can lie, cover up and amplify. Their people are not free to express themselves Trump is one of those who understand China and Chinese modes of operations.

For Fiona, it is thanks to God that the government had now seen the need to react appropriately towards China. “We thank God that our Government has finally seen all these things. Our Government should do something and we also pray for the elimination of this covid 19 pandemic”.

Obviously, you are held in bondage by China. What a contradiction that the Chinese came here in pretense of treating blacks of corona virus that the same China caused, and at the same time manifesting racism against blacks in their country. Sometimes l am left wondering why we are where we are! The Chinese have seen our nakedness and feel they can go free treating our people like trash.

Nigeria should end ties with the Chinese if need be.

I am highly impressed by the foreign Minister’s comments, it really shows that,no matter the relationship shared with Chinese or other countries, his people (Nigeria/ Africa.) comes first. I solidly suggest that our people over there should be properly monitored to see if there is a change of treatment from the Chinese people. They can’t molest our people and go free. Some of them without complete immegrant documents are here in Nigeria and they’re doing fine. Go to ogun and lagos; Ogun, expecialy in Odogbolu, ijebuode, Okuowa, most of the Chinese in those axis don’t have any documents and they’re there living fine. I don’t blame any body but the immigration , Custom, the federal government and other regulatory bodies that are concerned.

I am very disappointed with the Chinese nation after watching videos of my country men been mistreated in China. I am very happy to hear our Foreign Affairs Minister come openly to speak against the sad act from the Chinese people. At least, this shows that we very much concerned about our beloved brothers in other countries. This is a good step being taken by the Nigerian government and I hope the Chinese governments look for a way to put a stop to this nonsense. God bless both nations!
