Why They Arrested My Pastor Abroad -Pastor Adeboye

The General Overseer (GO) of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has shared on how one of the ministry’s pastors was arrested abroad.

Pastor Adeboye was trying to drive home  the extent to which pervasion had eaten the moral fabrics of the society.

He said: “They arrested one of my pastors somewhere abroad: what was his offence?

He was going to speak, and he got up and said, ” Ladies and gentlemen’.., that was his offence. Long you

“Some people reported him that he is discriminatory; he said ‘ladies and gentlemen, what about those of us who are neither ladies nor gentlemen “.

O, truth o, I am not joking, that’s how far the world has gone.

You think things are bad, you don’t know all the details.

I saw a woman and I think there was a discussion that led finally to: “where’s your husband?”

“He couldn’t come”

“O, I see, are you hearing from him?”

” No, he doesn’t talk”

“Then, how are you sure he’s okay?”

“O, I took him to the vet before I came”

“Took him to the vet? He doesn’t talk? Who’s your husband?”

“He’s a very handsome dog”, she reportedly responded.

Pastor Adeboye then began to admonish the faithful saying:

“We are closer to the end than before

“Those of you who are already in Christ , take this matter seriously.

” Don’t let anybody weaken your stand for him. God is holy”
