What Rafael Leao Says About Chelsea Transfer Rumour

Rafael Leao of Milan gave Chelsea a transfer blow while declaring that Serie A is “simple” for him by revealing that he dislikes the weather in London.
The international forward from Portugal is probably one of the most sought-after players in football and is having another fantastic season at Milan.

Big-spending Chelsea seemed to be at the top of the list after being linked to a transfer since the summer, but Leao identified one particular roadblock that could thwart a prospective deal.
“The climate there is not to my taste. When I first visited London, I went shopping, “jokingly told Portuguese publication A Bola. “I like the Duomo (barbershop), shopping centers, clubs, and the food in Milan.”
Despite appearing settled in Italy, Leao added that their top flight may not be challenging enough.
“Serie A is very easy, yes it seems”, he added. “Before arriving to Serie A I was in France, where the first year was difficult. They came in hard. But when you have ability, when you are faster, you can create and make a difference. The second year was much better and I grew a lot. I have to show the world what I can do on the pitch and off it.”
Leao, who has already contributed to 17 goals this season, is obviously not just being pursued by Chelsea; Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also rumored to be interested in the Portuguese attacker.
Milan will hope they can retain the player despite not having reached an agreement on a new deal – which expires in 2024 – after his counsel claimed he wanted to continue at the club last month.
The 23-year-old will play next for Milan in Serie A on Saturday when they visit 12th-placed Fiorentina, as contract negotiations continue.
