The dumped foetus by an unknown person this morning
Residents of Adetoun Close, Ogba in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State, woke up on Thursday to a gory sight of a foetus that looked like a still birth.
This is believed to have been dumped by a suspected expectant mother.
However, calls were made by the residents pleading for the matter to be brought into te public domain in order to get the attention of relevant authorities for an evacuation of the foetus.
“Please help us reach the police or Ministry of the Environment to come and evacuate this foetus dumped here by unknown persons,” a distressed resident said in a telephone conversation.
Residents were, however, directed to the Area G Police Division at Ogba, close to the scene at the Ifako Ijaiye Local Government Area of the state.
It was not certain whether the foetal object was still at the same location on the tarred surface of the road during the time of filing this report.
