Tragic is the right word as street fight between two neighbours has led to death of a hairdresser. the untimely and unfortunate death of one of them, leaving the other in regret.
The tragic incident happened at the Jakande Estate area of Lagos, The Eagle reports, claiming the life of one Mrs Laide Abioye, known as Iya Oyin, a hairdresser.
She reportedly died of brain damage due to injury received in the fight with her neighbour, Mrs Akeem Adejumo.

The deceased had accused Mrs Adejumo of being responsible for the higher amount slammed on her in respect of electricity consumption bills for the shop where she had been operating as a hairdresser.
Her contention was that she should not be charged as much as residents.

Another occupant, Miss Blessing Ayade, in charge of collection and collating of the bills did not take kindly to the hairdresser’s observation but insisted that she must pay.
One thing led to another and then a full blown argument which later resulted into a brawl, each woman trying to have an upper hand.
The hairdresser got hit on the head with a heavy object, but The Eagle could not immediately ascertain what the heavy object was, but immediately, the hairdresser slumped and died.

An officer from the Divisional Police Command in the area, simply identified as Mr Olowo told The Eagle correspondent that Mrs Adejumo alongside her husband, had been arrested in connection with the death and were answering questions at the police station.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased had been taken to a hospital morgue.
