Internet Access and electricity connectivity have received a boost at the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke.

This has been made possible by the intervention of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), as confirmed by the Rector of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Mr. Sefiu Adewumi

Mr Adewumi, said the institution can now boast of stable and independent electricity and internet connectivity, following TETFund’s intervention.

Adewumi said this in a letter of appreciation to the Fund after the completion of the intervention project, noting that it has significantly strengthened academic delivery, administrative operations, and overall skills development within the college.

According to him, the intervention has improved infrastructure and learning conditions, equipping both staff and students with industry-relevant skills while also enhancing the institution’s capacity to meet modern educational demands.

He explained that the project enabled the college to access essential facilities and equipment that had long been financially out of reach.

The Rector further highlighted that the installation of Starlink internet services and a mini-solar power grid has helped address long-standing challenges of electricity instability and poor connectivity on campus.
