Teens On Purpose Int’l Empowers Over 10,000 Students through TOP OUTREACH 4.0

Teens On Purpose International (TOP Int’l), a non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to raising purpose-driven leaders who become agents of positive change, successfully concluded the 4th edition of its annual secondary school outreach, TOP OUTREACH.

The initiative aimed to educate and inspire teenagers and young adults across Nigeria to discover and fulfill their purpose, while instilling a sense of responsibility and the importance of positive impact in their lives.

TOP OUTREACH 4.0 proved to be a monumental success as the organisation visited a staggering 35 schools across 13 states in Nigeria, leaving a lasting impact on over 10,000 secondary school students. The states included Lagos, Ondo, Oyo, Cross River, Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Nasarawa, Delta, Ogun, Taraba, Osun, Abuja, and Kwara.

Teens On PurposeOne of the key highlights of the outreach programme was the donation of over 300 copies of “The Purpose Driven Teenager,” a book authored by Mordecai Orimiladeye, the founder of Teens On Purpose Int’l.

The book serves as a comprehensive guide, empowering young individuals to discover their purpose and pursue it with passion and dedication. By providing these resources, the organization aimed to equip students with the necessary tools to lead purposeful lives and positively impact society.

Throughout the TOP OUTREACH sessions, students were engaged in thought-provoking discussions about the significance of discovering purpose and becoming agents of positive change. The sessions focused on fostering a sense of moral responsibility and addressing the prevalent moral, social, and educational challenges faced by today’s youth.

Mordecai Orimiladeye, the visionary founder of Teens On Purpose Int’l, expressed his concern about the alarming moral decadence among young people, emphasising the organiation’s commitment to combating this issue.

He stated, “Over the years, we have witnessed deterioration in their moral, social, and educational values. The goal of TOP OUTREACH 4.0 is to educate teenagers and young adults in secondary schools on Purpose and Leadership and raise awareness on the need for them to start living their life with a sense of purpose, which is vital in helping them grow into responsible and successful adults.”

The impact of TOP OUTREACH 4.0 was evident through the overwhelmingly positive feedback received from students in various states.

The interactive sessions sparked a newfound determination among the participants to actively engage in problem-solving and become agents of change within their communities.
