The Argentine sensation Lionel Messi is expected to miss two more MLS games and has reportedly set a date for his injured comeback at Inter Miami.

The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner was substituted off the pitch early in the second half of Nashville’s CONCACAF Champions Cup match on March 13. Taking no chances with his fitness, the Argentine legend did not participate in a 3-1 victory over D.C. United.

Messi may now enjoy some light training sessions in Florida as he has also been left off of the most recent Argentina team. He won’t be hurried back into action, even though the issue the all-time great is managing is not thought to be serious.

According to Diario Ole journalist Hernan Claus, Messi will be unavailable for a trip to the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. Tata Martino will also be without his talismanic captain for a home date with New York City FC on March 30. The plan is to have Messi back for a Champions Cup clash with Monterrey on April 3.
