Mokuolu-Ogba

Bad roads, bad drainages have become the bane of a lot of residents and business people in different parts of the country and particularly in the Lagos metropolis.

It is for this reason that the people in Mokuolu-Ogba are reaching out to the government to come to their aid.

We join our voices with them to plead with the government to look into this area in the state to make life more bearable for the citizens.

There are other issues ongoing making life difficult for the ordinary citizens which they try to work to alleviate on their own by engaging in various businesses to earn a living for themselves and their families.

The absence of other social amenities which the government is meant to provide, it is are adding to the hardship for which we plead with the appropriate authorities to intervene.

It should be noted however that the issue of drainage blockages should be tackled by both the government and the citizens.

The government on its part could carry out enlightenment campaigns to educate the citizens on the harm they cause by dumping of refuses and plastics into the drainage.

So, it is not Mokuolu-Ogba alone; but residents of other neighbourhoods will have to brace up as responsible citizens and take care of their environment by adopting the healthy practice of dumping refuses in their right places.
