A man whose full identify is yet to be known has left an entire Ondo neigbourhood dazed with shock following what he did to his own family.
The incident in the Ijoko Area of Akure, Ondo State is now the talk of the town leaving many rethinking life and its true essence.
The man and his wife had been married for about ten years, had two children before getting separated
Somehow, he still wanted the union and had been begging the woman for reconciliation but she would not bulge
Recounting what followed, the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, stated:
“They were married and, along the way, had issues that caused them to stay apart.

“The deceased asked his wife to come over and collect a wardrobe. When she arrived, he began threatening to kill himself but later locked the door so that both of them would die together.
“Using fuel and a lighter, he set himself and the woman ablaze. He died on the spot, while the woman suffered major burns.”
The incident has left the entire Ondo neigbourhood dazed.
