Machete-Wielding Residents ready to cut, have chased away a member representing them in the house.
The machete-wielding Residents are angry over his failure to fix their road riddled with potholes.
The incident happened in Kobeng, Seidi, and Amanchia, in the South of Atwima Nwabiagya Ashanti Region of Ghana represented in the parliament by Mr Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere.
The residents were angry sighting Agyei Anhwere within their community and immediately mobilised against him, armed with dangerous weapons.
The incident happened yesterday, with huge moral lessons not only for Ghana politicians but others from other West African countries.
The residents, reports Modern Ghana were not happy with the poor state of the Wiawso-Antoakrom road, which is riddled with potholes.
The poor state of the road has rendered a nightmare for users, with some of the locals wondering why the road had been left in such a terrible state despite having a representative in parliament.
The report added that the road had been fixed for repairs some years ago, and yet had yet to receive attention of the authorities.
A desperate effort by Agyei Anhwere to get the ears of a local chief of Amanchia by calling a meeting was snubbed.

Members of the community were angry that the contractor handling the project abandoned it and the relevant authorities refused to call him to order.
