International Lawyer, Barrister Aina, Elected Chairman of NNPP in Ogun State

In a significant development within the political landscape of Ogun State, Barrister Aina John, an international lawyer and former candidate for the Ogun West Senatorial District, has been elected as the chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

The election follows his exemplary performance and leadership qualities demonstrated during the 2023 general election campaign.

Barrister Aina’s extensive experience as a political analyst, notably showcased on national television platforms such as TVC, has undoubtedly contributed to his political acumen and garnered widespread recognition among the populace.

Upon his election, Barrister Aina expressed his commitment to fostering progress and unity within the NNPP and its members. He stated, “My emergence as the state chairman under our great party is to work on the progress and unity of the members and our political party, NNPP.”

The transition to Barrister Aina’s leadership was marked by a display of transparency and accountability among party members. Notably, the other two contestants, Mr. Adekunle Ibrahim and Mr. Adeleke, gracefully conceded to Barrister Aina, emphasizing the collective goal of advancing the NNPP’s agenda in Ogun State.

In addition to Barrister Aina’s election  key executive positions were filled through consensus, further affirming the party’s commitment to inclusivity and cohesion. Omokehinde Olayemi Olowu was named as the state Public Relations Officer (PRO), while Barrister Isaac Izunya assumed the role of Legal Advisor for the NNPP in Ogun State.

The election of Barrister Aina John heralds a new chapter for the NNPP in Ogun State, characterized by a vision for progress, unity, and effective leadership. With a team of dedicated executives in place, the party is poised to navigate the intricacies of state politics and champion the interests of its members and constituents alike.
