Inter Miami Star Sends ‘Best In The World’ Message To Nunez

Ex-Liverpool striker Luis Suarez said compatriot Darwin Nunez is one of the best strikers in the world after his winner against Nottingham Forest.
The Reds striker gave his team a crucial three points and kept them atop the Premier League on Saturday when he scored the game-winning goal in the 99th minute against Forest. Additionally, fellow Uruguayan Suarez, who was a player at Anfield from 2011 to 2014, sang Nunez ‘s praises following the win.

Following his brace for Inter Miami in their 5-0 win over Orlando City on Saturday, Suarez said: “Yes I saw [the goal]. I am so happy for Liverpool and I am so happy for Darwin. He is one of the best strikers in the world today.”
Nunez has received criticism for his goal-scoring tendencies and performances while at Liverpool, but he still has 14 goals and 11 assists this season. He has shown himself to be a crucial component of the Reds’ attempt to capture a historic quadruple.
In the CONCACAF Champions Cup, Suarez’s Miami team plays Nashville in a round of 16 first-leg match on Friday, while Nunez’s Liverpool team plays Sparta Praha away in the Europa League on Thursday.
