How Soldiers Shouting “EndSARS” Descended On lady’s Buttocks And..

One of the rave stories of the recent wide protests in the land, is how Soldiers Shouting “EndSARS” descended on a lady wearing suggestive camisole and attachment whipping her buttocks.

Not only that, the soldiers forced her to sit on the bare floor at a filling station and also shaved other youths whom they alleged were indecently dressed.

However signs that nemesis have caught up with them, have because the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Seun Fakorede, has revealed their arrest by the Nigerian Army.

Fakorede who said this via series of tweets today, said the two soldiers were caught on camera unleashing punishment on their civilian victims:

 “I have immediately reached out to the Commandant of the Operation Burst and I’ve been assured that the men involved in this distasteful operation have been arrested and taken to the barracks — they will be dealt with accordingly. This will not repeat itself again in Oyo State.

“Please, kindly go about your daily business and activities without fear. Thank you”, he urged the people.

Funny enough, these were soldiers who were dispatched to Beere in Ibadan, Oyo State, to help contain excesses in the course of the protests.

The Eagle learnt viral video also showed a young man, whose head had been shaven narrating his bitter experience thus:

“They said I should take off my cap and when I did so, they flogged me and asked me to kneel down. When I asked what my crime was, he ordered me to sit down and then brought out a pair of scissors from his pocket.

“The funny thing was that they collected money from us for the haircut.”

The Eagle also reports that early last month, a video had emerged online of SARS officers allegedly shooting and killing a young man, triggering nationwide outrage.

Before long, the #EndSARS hashtage had become a common feature in several quarters simultaneously sparking protests from city to city.

President Muhammadu Buhari had to announce that the SARS would be immediately disbanded, but protesters have decried the move as inadequate and refused the leave the streets until officials commit to fighting police brutality at large.

Many other things followed, including the miscreants taking advantage of an initially peaceful and well-coordinated protest to unleash mayhem and steal.
