How Gbolahan Olatoye Honored Yoruba Filmmakers

It was all about glitz and glam last Sunday at the Bamboo Plaza, Omole Phase 1 Lagos, when filmmaker, Gbolahan Olatoye honored Yoruba flmmakers.

The Yoruba Movie Gist Award started at 4PM with a red carpet hosted by delectable red carpet hosts, Olatide Ola-Egbinola and Adebisi Olowofela.-

The comperes for the evening were Iremofe Kofoworola and Sogoreni. Popular movie actors, Rotimi Salami and Alwell Ademola graced the occasion.

Salami received award for the Best Actor category and Alwell Ademola was awarded Best Supporting Actress. Ademola made it known that it was the first time she would clinch an award as an actress.

There were awardees for other categories including Best director, most promising actor, most supportive entrepreneur, amongst others.

There was music performance, comedy, food, and drinks. The comperes ensured that guests enjoyed a beautiful night. The event ended at 9PM.
