Giant Step For Winners Chapel, Gets Approval For Own Airstrip
It is indeed a giant step for Winners Chapel, full names, Living Faith Church Worldwide, as it has got approval for its own airstrip.
News of the giant step was broken by the General Overseer himself, Bishop David Oyedepo: that the Federal Government has approved the construction of an airstrip for Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland.
Oyedepo announced this during the Tehillah Night Special Edition at Covenant University Chapel, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State on Sunday,
The Tehillah Night special edition commemorated the 70th birthday of the bishop.
“I am sure you will be glad to know that the Federal Government has approved an airstrip for Canaanland.
“I won’t need to fly a helicopter to the airport. I can leave from here to wherever I am going. Members with their planes will have where to land and park.”
“Won’t you be glad to know that there are some captains that fly me who are graduates of Covenant University? We don’t have an aviation department here, but they found their place in God and went after it.

“That’s what this university is all about, it’s not about boxing you up. It’s about allowing you to locate God’s plan and pursue it accordingly. Young people, don’t play away your life; you don’t have a spare,” he said.
The Eagle reports that Dr Oyedepo’s 70th birthday celebration was awesome, with dignitaries from different walks of life gracing, and treasurable gifts in tow.
Amongst the several treasurable gifts he got, was a luxurious Rolls Royce Cullinan and N1bn donation from Winners Chapel members.
