Foursquare Pastor Urges Christians To Be Steadfast In Faith

The Youth Pastor, Foursquare Gospel Church, Omole District Headquarter, Pastor Julius Oni, had admonished his congregation to always remember that God would never be late in their lives, no matter the situation that may confront them.

Pastor Oni made the admonition while speaking at a church event with the theme “The El-shaddia God Is never late ”; he told the congregation: “When you find yourself in the valley, God the lily of the valley is with you in all hurdles of life”.

The man of God used Abraham in (Gen:17,1-3), Shadrash, Meshac and Abednego in (Daniel:3-19) to illustrate his point, stating for example that despite Abraham’s old age, God gave him a child.

He said Shadrash, Meshac and Abednego trusted the Almighty God would deliver them from the burning fire of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, and never bowed to worship the golden image.

He wondered why Christians should be moving from place to place seeking for miracle, and forgetting that El-Shaddai is in heaven to answer them.

He queried: “If God is not enough for you , who is enough for you?

He said Abraham was able to obtain God’s blessings because he heeded to God’s instruction to walk before Him and be perfect.

According to him, some people have hardened their hearts as the prison yard, but pretend to the Christians., while some only acknowledge God when things are rosy for them.

He appealed to the church to sustain prayers in their service to God who is all sufficient in all situations and not to be weather Christians.

A youth executive, Odo Matthew, described the ministration impactful and timely given current realities.

He advised youths to hold unto God who is ever enough.
