Infidelity whenever it happens usually leaves far-reaching consequences, and has made a fetish priest to take more than a revenge.
Mr Solomon Mbalegon, 62, last Thursday not only murdered his junior wife, Madam Nakoli Mbalegon, 25, over alleged infidelity but went ahead to take his own life.
The incident happened at Yeji, in Pru East District of Bono East, Ghana Times has reported.
It said, Mr Mbalegon, also known as ‘Okomfo’ Solomon, killed the wife on suspicion of infidelity, in night, at their home at Parambo, a suburb of Yeji.

The murder was later confirmed to the Ghana News Agency by Mr Yussif Sulemana, the Assembly Member for the area.
Mr Sulemana said Mr Mbalegon said a misunderstanding had broken out between husband and wife over alleged infidelity with other men in the neighbourhood, a situation that the fetish priest could not take, hencing resorting to extreme measures
Residents have been more than shocked that the fetish priest not only stabbed his wife to death, but also committed suicide.

Mr Sulemana has as a result advised residents against extreme reactions irrespective of the provocation.
He was also quoted as saying that the bodies of the dead had been taken to the mortuary at the St. Mathias Catholic Hospital at Yeji, while others connected with the incident had been arrested.
