This is according to parallel market operators in Lagos and Abeokuta.

The local currency dipped by N5 against the American Dollar, as yesterday’s trading session concluded at N1230/$.

At the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) Exchange Rate session, the Naira slumped to settle at N1038.63 on Friday, in contrast to N840/$ it traded on Thursday.

Meanwhile, trades commenced at N1233/$ in the Peer2Peer (P2P) currency exchange segment today. The local currency fell by N3 as yesterday’s sessions closed at N1230/$.
