What is the black market Dollar to Naira exchange rate today 15th January, 2024?

The Eagle reports that parallel market (black market) operators in Lagos and Abuja are trading Dollar to Naira at N1260/$ today, 15th January, 2024.

The local currency fell by N15 against the USD as the weekend’settled at N1245/$.

The buying rate is N1255/$ in Lagos, and trades the same in Abuja, while the selling rate is N1260/$ in both cities.

Meanwhile, the local currency gained at the Peer2Peer (P2P) trading exchange segment to commence trade at N1270/$ against N1260/$ it traded yesterday.

The exchange rate between the Naira and the US dollar according to the data released on the FMDQ Security Exchange, the official forex trading portal showed that the Naira opened at ₦935.62 per dollar on Friday, January 12, 2024, and closed at ₦890.54 per $1 on Friday, January 12, 2024.
