Capt Thompson Biokoro Salutes Gov Oborevwori’s 1 Year Achievements In Office

A Deltan and public affairs analyst, Capt. Thompson Biokoro has saluted the Delta State governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as the governor’s commendable performance one year in office.

Captain Biokoro made the commendation while fielding questions with our correspondent.

He said the governor has been able to sustain the tempo of good governance in Delta State by commissioning more impactful projects he had executed since coming to office.

The captain cited specifically the Edo Road in Ughelli; Emevor-Orogun Road in Isoko North, the bridge across the Obo River at Ogwashi-Uku in sector C 1 of the Ughelli-Asaba Road dualisation, and the 5.3km Okpanam-Ibusa by-pass road in Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.

“No doubt, these are strategic roads that stand to improve economic activities in the state.

“They will help to improve the state economy by enhancing easy movement of goods and people “.

He said he was lending full support to the governor and would be ready to assist in any capacity that his expertise and professional competence would be needed in the state.

Capt. Biokoro also called for state-wide support for the governor to enable him to take the state to the next level.

The Eagle reports that the governor has touched literally all key sectors of the Delta society, from education to health; from roads to electricity; people empowerment and political bridge building.

All of these are expected to bring governance closer to the people, thereby helping add to the quality of life of the average Deltan.
