Popular Nigerian artiste, 9ice, has said he was never aware that the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) banned one of his popular songs.
He made the shocking revelation in an encounter with a journalist, probably why he had not reacted to the matter until now.
He expressed surprise that the song in contention,, ‘Living things,’ could be banned because according to him, it is a promotion of hard work just like his other songs.
according to him, a song like that should promote hard work especially among youths and not illegalities.
He further said that he was not aware of the ban till it was brought to his notice by Saturday Beats as he had been out of the country for various tours and gigs.
“My song has been banned again?” he exclaimed. The singer continued, “I am surprised that they banned my songs because most of my music is to inspire the youths to work hard and ensure they do things the right way.
I don’t sing songs that would encourage anyone to do the wrong thing. I have been in this industry for a while and I know better than to do such because I know a lot of people look up to me in the society.”
