Who or what is responsible for the death of a 200-level Federal University student and the dumping of the body in a stagnant water?
That is the riddle that the police is now seeking answers to, following the discovery of the body of a 28-year-old student of the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Federal University of Kashere, Enoch Sunday Maisamari.
Maisamari had reportedly been missing since Sunday, only for his body to be recovered from a stagnant water body in Sabon Garin Yero Village, near Kashere town, Akko Local Government Area of the state.
Narrating a perspective of the incident, the Gombe State Police Command said it received a report on Wednesday at about 9:30 a.m. regarding the recovery of Maisamari’s lifeless body from the stagnant water.
“The victim was evacuated to the General Hospital, Kashere, where he was certified dead.

“No visible marks of violence were observed on the body. But investigation is still ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident,” the statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Buhari Abdullahi, said.
The now late university student hailed from Billiri Local Government Area of Gombe State
Upon the police contacting the school, they identified his body.
