Real Madrid, Bayern, Liverpool? Three-Horse Race For Xabi Alonso

Liverpool has been informed that there will be a “three-horse race” for Xabi Alonso’s services as speculation over Jurgen Klopp’s replacements intensifies.

The Premier League and Champions League-winning coach Klopp is under contract at Anfield until 2026, therefore there isn’t a managerial vacancy at the club. Nonetheless, the German strategist has hinted that, when his present contract expires, he would be saying goodbye to Merseyside.

It will not be simple to follow in Klopp’s stellar footsteps, and discussions about possible successors have already started. Although the World Cup-winning former Spain international is starting to become in demand, former Reds star Alonso has made an impression while leading Real Sociedad B and Bayer Leverkusen. Former Liverpool teammate Hamman stated, “Xabi is doing fantastically well and it depends on how long Klopp stays at Liverpool,” in an interview with BoyleSports, which provides the most recent Premier League odds.

During his first season in charge, Alonso guided Leverkusen to the Europa League semifinals in October 2022. He shares a contract with Klopp on Merseyside, ending in 2026 with the Bundesliga team, but he has lots of supporters in Madrid and Munich because he was a standout player for both Real and Bayern Madrid.
