Why iPhone 13 Is Better Than the Newly Revealed iPhone 14 Pro

A few days back, Apple Inc announced the release of its much anticipated iPhone 14 and 14 pro as the latest upgrade to the iPhone series.

It was unveiled in a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus.

Major camera improvements for low-light photography, a faster GPU, satellite calling connectivity, crash detection, and what Apple is claiming to be the “greatest iPhone battery life ever” were among the upgrades to the new 14 range.

However, there has been a backlash at a core feature for the Pro users.

Some iPhone 14 Pro users have noticed a little but significant functionality reduction in connection with the new camera.

Owners are reporting that it is more difficult to concentrate on close-up objects with the iPhone 14 Pro camera, despite the fact that it delivers numerous significant upgrades over its predecessor. This has an impact on any close-up work, including conventional macro photography and less exciting activities like using a phone to “scan” printed documents, Forbes reported.

Some users who experienced the latest iPhone 14 Pro “camera shaking” fault believed the difficulty with close focus was a result of permanent harm done to the lens’s mechanical parts. The reality is that their phones likely acted in this manner from the beginning.

This is due to the new main lens of the iPhone 14 Pro’s inability to focus as closely on a subject as its predecessor, a difference that is extremely noticeable. The iPhone 14 Pro loses focus when held closer than 7.8 inches, whereas the iPhone 13 Pro can focus up to 5.9 inches away. When it comes to tight focus, the primary lens on the iPhone 13 Pro has a 25% edge over the ultra-wide lens, but that advantage no longer exists with the iPhone 14 Pro.

In a recent report, Sebastiaan de With, co-founder of Halide and developer of the renowned iOS-based camera app of the same name, uncovered this information, which was missing from Apple’s published tech specs. One of several cutting-edge features offered by Halide is a ‘Technical Readout’ that lists the most important technical specifications for each camera, many of which are not included in Apple’s official literature.
