Why These Spots Have Entered Lagos’ Police Bad Books

Some spots in Lagos have just entered the bad books of the police, a reason they were the spot of a coordinated raid by the men in uniform recently,

These spots raided by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command led to the arrest of 27 suspects during the operation carried out on February4 and 5 respectively.

The spots located in Ikeja, Agege and Alimosho ,included Ile Zik, Dopemu Under Bridge, Shasha, Orisumbare, Iyana-Ipaja Underbridge, Ile-Epo, Abule Egba, Isokoko, Alfa Nla, Capitol Road, Akilo, Marketing, Alausa Central Business District among others.

The police command said it was part of the commitment of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, to continually take the anti-crime fight to the dens of criminals and miscreants in the state.

The arrested suspects include Olajide Kolawole, m, 26, Kehinde Ayoola, m, 25, Dola Abdullahi m, 20, Michael Ogungbade, m, 19, and 23 others.

The Commissioner promised to intensify efforts towards reducing incidences of traffic robbery, cultism and other social vices within the state.

In a related development, the command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) said it had arrested Six suspected kidnappers in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, ASP Yusuf Mariam.

It said that the suspects were arrested on credible intelligence.

The suspects are Frank Ozor, 26, Nweke Uche, 19, Chester Uzor, 25, Chukwu Bethrand, 27, Chukwu Samuel, 25, and Kelechi Ngene, 26, all male.

 “The suspects who had earlier abducted three persons were arrested by eagle-eyed Police Operatives on routine patrol while attempting to relocate one of their victims. Further investigation led to the successful rescue of two other victims who identified the suspects.

“Consequently, the Command has deployed covert and overt crime-fighting strategies to strengthen security across the Federal Capital Territory especially areas with cumbersome terrain.

In addition, the Command has launched a strategic counter-kidnapping operation to checkmate the emerging security concerns”, the statement said.

    The Head of the power supplier from ikeja electric installing the transformer for the school get angry over a picture taken by the student of the school without their consent.
    The student went to meet the leader for a permission to take them but he rejected and she went ahead to take the picture and that makes the power holding official angry that it make him sized the phone.
    The resident collected the student phone and was trying to brake the phone. Because the student was trying to take their picture for their academic assignment. The issue was so serious that the student av to report the case to their lecturer.
    The student and her classmates had to beg him so can release the phone , and he later released it after some of the school official also talk him and he asked the student to delete the pictures she took after he agreed to release the phone
