Why Mowe Residents Stripped, Paraded Three Men Naked Today

Three men in their late 40s would be biting their fingers in regret now, after they were forced to pay the price of wickedness in the Ashimolowo community of Mowe, Ogun State.

They were stripped naked, beaten and paraded round the neigbourhood, after being nabbed having canal knowledge of a 12 year old in an uncompleted building in the area.

The Eagle correspondent learnt that the parents’ desperate search for their daughter, had raised concern in the area, leading the search party to an uncompleted building where the unnamed teen was found paying the sex price.

The incensed neighbourhood did not waste time in stripping the three men identified as Adams Adeyemi, Muhammed Ibrahim, and Suliamon.

They beat them and also forced them to parade the neighbourhood naked

“These are old men who are ruining the lives of our sisters” said Usman Abdulramon who appeared to be the leader of the teenage boys who nabbed the rapists..

Reports confirm that “they had previously escaped being caught twice but today was their unlucky day”.

It was also gathered that the three men were not from the Ashimolowo community but from Adesan, a neighbouring community.

“We handed them over to the teenagers because they were the ones that caught them and demanded to discipline them before we hand them over to the police’ Said the Adegboyega Noheem who is the Baale of the community

Amidst jeers and ecpressing of disgust, the three men were shamed in the market square where they were made to walk in front of the entire community naked.
