Visa Dispute: N20m Wasted As Nigerian Family Deported From UK

Man devastated as he’s deported with wife, 3 kids from UK after borrowing N20 million to relocate
A visa dispute between a Nigerian couple has led to their deportation from the United Kingdom alongside their children.
The family had just recently arrived the country, a project that cost them N20m, but all that had now gone to the drains.
Their deportation reportedly followed a visa dispute that arose shortly after their arrival in the United Kingdom, a TikTok user @the.story.town has indicated.
The account is that it was the woman that obtained the UK visa while her husband and children traveled with her as dependents.
Almost immediately however, there was misunderstanding, when the woman began to assert her authority being the one that facilitated the journey in the first place.
This was the beginning of the visa dispute between husband and wife, the latter threatening the husband’s position.
She had plainly threatened to remove his name from the visa, the account said, thus leading to an escalation of the whole matter.

The last straw seemingly was the inclusion of the name of a girl as their child, which the husband vehemently opposed.
He did not leave it at that but attracted the attention of the UK Home Office.
The suspicion prompted the authorities to cancel the entire visa for the family.
Worse, the family reportedly borrowed N20 million to facilitate their move to the UK, and now the visa had been cancelled, even while the entire family had been deported from the UK.
