US Aircrafts Show Off Military Might By China’s Door-Steps
The United States put on a show of force with an ‘elephant walk’ of bombers on its Air Force base in Guam on Monday, after China threatened Taiwan with an aircraft carrier and strike group over the weekend.
On Monday, the Andersen Air Force Base, which is about 1,800 miles east of China, flexed its military strength with at least a dozen aircraft from the US Navy and Air Force.

This happened just days after China sent its aircraft carrier, the Liaoning, and fighter jets close to Taiwan.
According to The Aviationist, the procession included a Navy MH-60S Knighthawk, Air Force RQ-4 Global Hawk, five Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bombers and six KC-135 Stratotankers.
The elephant walk came just days after China sent an aircraft carrier and fighter jets close to Taiwan.
Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said the Liaoning, China’s first operational aircraft carrier, and five accompanying warships passed first through the Miyako Strait, located between Japan’s islands of Miyako and Okinawa, to the northeast of Taiwan, on Saturday.
On Sunday, the carrier group, which included two 052D guided-missile destroyers – the Xining and Guiyang – two 054A guided-missile frigates – the Zaozhuang and Rizhao – and supply ship, the Hulunhu, sailed in waters on Taiwan’s east coast and then into seas to the south of Taiwan, carrying out exercises, the ministry said.
Taiwan’s armed forces monitored the carrier group’s progress throughout and ‘completed relevant actions in response to ensure national security and protect regional peace and stability’. There was no immediate response from China’s Defense Ministry.
The USS Roosevelt and USS Ronald Reagan are the only two US carriers in the Pacific, but both have been forced to dock due to confirmed coronavirus cases onboard, which effectively gives China free range in the region.

The Liaoning, which can carry up to 24 J-15 fighter jets, is currently the only aircraft carrier active in the western Pacific.
The USS Roosevelt, which is currently docked in Guam, reported its first death of a sailor who previously tested positive for the virus on Monday.
Nearly 600 sailors on the aircraft carrier have now tested positive for COVID-19 with about 92 per cent of the ship’s crew having been tested.
Officials said the USS Reagan is currently docked in Yokosuka, Japan, for maintenance, but crew members have also reported coronavirus cases onboard.

for me,China will never lead the world no matter how they try to copy many things from the west. Chinese government is anti Christian and anti Muslim, so they oppress these two religions in their country.They force churches and mosques to turn to practice Buddhism. There is no freedom of speech in China and they hate Taiwan and Hong Kong youths who want change.
But my fear is, why are our African leaders depending on the West and China, leaving the continent in a pool of very heavy debt, that even three of our forthcoming generations could not pay.
Instead of our leaders transforming the continent with our abundant God-given resources via innovation in science and technology in agriculture and creativity and make us independent from the west and china,they prefer going to them and making unreasonable agreements with them with our resources just for their backing in winning elections in Africa.
After they win, we the citizens become vulnerable and find difficult to enjoy what we have. My tears go to Mohammad Gaddafi (the former Libyan president),Nelson Mandela, Robert Mugabe(he later messed up) and our past dedicated leaders. All our present leaders are so much corrupt that they only focus on developing China and the west with our stolen bond.
So my brothers and sisters, we should not waste our energy in fighting if China will lead or not but let us rather focus on developing Africa.It’s our own. This is where we come from.The question now is, what can we do to make Africa great?
I love you all and never forget in your dream to make Africa great and pass it to your nest generation.

China will never be a world leader because it does not have what it takes to lead the world. Many of the countries clamouring for power today will abuse it ten times worse than the US ever did if they ever get a chance. A country that has no freedom of speech and frowns at democracy can never be a leader to the world. For a business man speaking against the Chinese government’s handling of the Corona virus alone, the man went missing and some ignorant persons want such a country to be world leader. I know that such people naturally hate the US and desire to see its downfall but let me make it clear for the record, the US is not going to lose its position in the world as a result of Corona virus
