A 17 year old girl is currently lying in pain in hospital following an attack by her boyfriend over alleged infidelity.
The victim, identified simply as Sharon, of Sagamian Ward in Narok, southwestern part of Kenya, was attacked grievously by her 30 year old boyfriend, while she was asleep.
The attack left her with life-changing injuries, and many people are now calling on law enforcement to prosecute the man
An arm and two teeth lost; where does Sharon go from here?
Images shared on social media, showed that Sharon’s hand was chopped off and two of her teeth removed.
During the attack, she also lost two teeth.

Sharing her perspective, Sharon said she sensed a burning sensation while asleep, and that upon waking up, she realised that it had been chopped off.
Naomi another girlfriend of the man has been quoted saying she was also a target, without offering more explanation.
Also, there have not been official reactions to the story either as a result of alleged infidelity or any other misunderstanding.
The attack has been attracting tremendous interest on social media, with many people wondering the kind of offence that would warrant a young lady’s future being brutally jeopardised.
