South-West Urges Kwakwanso To Pick Running Mate From Region
The South-West zone of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has urged the presidential candidate of the party, Sen Rabiu Kwankwaso to pick his running mate for the 2023 elections from the region.

Dada Olayinka who made the call on behalf of the six zonal chairmen of the party, said doing so was in the best interest of the party and the presidential candidate.
He said the zone was ready to mobilise massive support for the party, and towards Kwankwaso’s success during the polls.
In his words:“Making a choice or a running mate with antecedents as it is, requires wisdom, honesty and sagacity.
“We shall be grateful if the southwest region is given due consideration in this regard

“We are assured of massive support for his emergency at the February 2023 election from the southwest region”.
Mr Olayinka also urged all members of the party from the southwest region, to begin massive mobilization for the smooth emergency of Engr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as the next president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
It would be recalled that the Southwest region has become a stronghold of the party in the recent, not only involved in series of political activities, but also fielding candidates across all the positions for the party.

It also had a strong representation at the party’s national congress which held in Abuja for two days.
Among those from the region who graced the convention, is Comrade Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, who has before now held meetings with Kwankwaso at his Abuja office.
